PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Club Nokia is located in the center of the entertainment capital of the world: the L.A. LIVE complex. The three story music hall is set two stories above the 4 million square foot entertainment destination. The music hall occupies the top three floors of a 2450,000 sf, five story mixed-use building. In addition to a dance floor accommodating approximately 1,400 people and fixed mezzanine seating for 600 people, the venue will include a V.I.P. area enabling patrons to move freely between an exclusive lounge and V.I.P. booth seating overlooking the performance stage. The performance venue geared towards intimate live performances holds 2,350 guests in total.

Good sightlines throughout the venue were a priority, no seat is more than 200 feet from the stage and minimal obstructions was key, State of the art LED technology give the theatre an ever changing glow.

The traditionally stratified sectional relationship between programs was re-thought through a process of compression and expansion of floors; erasing the formal existence of the 2nd level. The sloping ceiling of the hall rises to a 20 foot barrel vault allowing patrons of the VIP level to view the dance floor below.
